Title of my talk – The Purpose of the National Security State… from NSC 68 to today…..

Answer let’s play the biggest role in world history!

Colonel RAYmond Sleeper

Obituary in WAPO:

Col. Sleeper, of Herndon, was born in Laconia, N.H. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1940. During World War II, he was a bomber pilot in the Pacific.

After the war, he received a master’s degree in social psychology at Harvard, attended the Air War College, then served on its faculty. Later, he served in Texas, Hawaii and at Andrews Air Force Base, where he specialized in the acquisition and analysis of foreign technology.

On retiring from the Air Force, Col. Sleeper settled in the Washington area. While living in the area, he taught cybernetics at the Space Institute of the University of Tennessee and lectured at the Freedom Study Center in Boston, Va. He also helped establish the Air Victory Museum in Medford, N.J.

A Lexicon of Marxist-Leninist Semantics

Amazon review:

“I bought this book as a junior NCO at Templehof Central Airport, West Berlin in the 80’s. The defintions are the very words of Marxist leaders and luminaries of various sorts. These same things could be heard, in various forms, ad nauseum on East German television and radio. Col. Sleeper compiled a thorough list of communist buzzwords and phrases and what they actually mean, a one-stop shop of sorts. It’s also useful for decoding some of the stuff spoken by our own political leaders, who themselves may not be aware of where what they’re saying actually came from. It’s an excellent reference text; as accurate and relevant today as when it was compiled.”

1990 – Operation Just Cause – Dick Cheney, Colin Powell, and George HW Bush

False flags:

“Safeguarding the lives of U.S. citizens in Panama. In his statement, Bush stated that Noriega had declared that a state of war existed between the U.S. and Panama and that he threatened the lives of the approximately 35,000 U.S. citizens living there. There had been numerous clashes between U.S. and Panamanian forces; one U.S. Marine had been killed a few days earlier.”

General Woerner removed…

General Maxwell Thurman in…

December 15….

From JCS history linked to above:

During the evening, four U.S. officers, apparently on a Saturday night outing, took a wrong turn and approached a PDF
checkpoint at the Comandancia At about 2110, guards from the Panama Defense Force stopped the car and tried to force the officers outside. When the Americans refused to leave their vehicle, a PDF soldier loaded a magazine into his AK-47; the car pulled away. As the guard fired, the car sped off, only to approach another PDF guardpost. The soldiers there also began firing. Their bullets wounded three of the officers in the car; one of them, Marine First Lieutenant Robert Paz, died of his wounds in the Gorgas Military Hospital.

While the U.S. officers were trying to escape, a U.S. couple who witnessed the incident, a junior U.S. naval officer and his wife, were brought to a police station for questioning. Interrogators kicked the officer in the groin, hit him in the mouth, and pointed a gun at his head. Other PDF members forced his wife to stand against a wall
while they groped her; she collapsed.

According to General Powell, most of the policy advisers were uneasy about whether the shooting at
the Comandancia constituted “enough of a smoking gun” to go to war. They feared thatthe “accidental blundering” of the four officers into the vicinity of the Comandancia might appear to be a reconnaissance or even a provocation.

Convinced that the incident had been accidental, Secretary Cheney had fewer qualms about taking strong action against Noriega and the PDF, especially after General Powell reminded him that BLUE SPOON had been refined and General Thurman’s forces could not be better prepared to execute it. The Secretary decided to brief the President and his key advisers that afternoon and called National Security Adviser Scowcroft to arrange the presentation.

Initially President Bush’s interest in a military operation was guarded. He wanted assurance that it would not backfire as had the attempted rescue of U.S. hostages in Iran during the Carter administration. He also wanted to preclude the interservice problems that arose in 1983 during the intervention in Grenada. The President asked:
“Would the plan work? Did it have to be that big? How many casualties would there be? How much damage would be done? What would be the diplomatic consequences throughout Latin America?

General Powell explained that even if U.S. intelligence could locate Noriega, anoperation to snatch him would not solve the problems with Panama. The entire PDF leadership was corrupt, and there were Noriega clones who could replace him. The entire PDF must be dismantled. That could be accomplished, General Powell said, most effectively with a massive military operation to neutralize the PDF as the first step toward its reconstruction. Even if Noriega escaped, he would have lost his power base and eventually would be captured. Moreover, General Powell concluded a massive intervention would minimize the time available for the PDF to seize U.S. citizens. Needing no further persuasion, President Bush ordered execution of BLUE SPOON with the words: “Okay, let’s do it. The hell with it!”
